Flower Drawing & Painting Workshop (All Ages)
This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of drawing and painting through the study of flowers. Using a curated selection of fresh flowers and visual references, participants will observe form, color, and texture while developing their own creative interpretations.
Each participant will choose their subject and preferred medium—pencil, watercolor, or acrylic—encouraging independent decision-making and personal expression. Guided demonstrations will cover simplifying complex forms into basic shapes, building structure through sketching, and applying color through layering and mixing techniques.
The session is designed to balance instruction with exploration, allowing participants to work at their own pace while receiving individualized support. By the end of the workshop, each participant will complete a finished artwork and gain a foundational understanding of observational drawing and painting.
Key Outcomes:
* Understand how to break down natural forms into simple shapes
* Develop basic sketching and composition skills
* Explore color mixing and painting techniques
